Important: this is not investment advice
- EquityTale is an educational and informational research tool. It is not an investment adviser or a research analyst.
- Nothing here is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security. We make no buy / sell / target-price calls.
- Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks. Past performance is not a guide to future returns, and you can lose money.
- Data and analysis are provided “as is”, may contain errors or be out of date, and should be verified against official sources before you rely on them.
- You alone are responsible for your investment decisions. Do your own research and consider consulting a licensed investment adviser before investing. You invest at your own risk.
No regulated advice
EquityTale is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Research Analyst or as an Investment Adviser, and nothing on this site should be read as a research report or as personalised advice. We do not know your finances, your goals or your tolerance for loss, so nothing here can be tailored to them. We publish no price targets, no stop-losses, no ratings and no forward-looking directional calls on individual securities.
What the numbers are, and are not
Every figure on this site is extracted automatically from filings made to India’s stock exchanges and from official company disclosures. Automated extraction can be wrong: a filing can be restated, a taxonomy can be applied inconsistently, and our reading of either can contain a mistake. Prices and market data are end-of-day and are not real-time.
The valuations we show are the output of standard, well-known models — estimates of what a business might be worth under stated assumptions, not predictions of what its share price will do. How we build this data sets out the extraction rules, the adjustments we apply, and the specific things we decline to publish because we cannot stand behind them. Always confirm anything that matters against the original filing.
Automated market commentary
The daily market brief is written by an automated system from that morning’s market data, and it is published only after passing compliance checks that remove recommendation language and directional calls on named securities. It is general market commentary — index levels, sector moves and the observed reason a stock is in focus — and it is not a research report and not advice.
Advertising
Some pages carry ads served by Google. We do not choose the advertisers, we do not endorse them, and an ad appearing next to a company is not a signal about that company. An advertised product may be regulated, unregulated or unsuitable for you. See our Privacy policy for what data those ads involve and how to turn personalisation off.
Found something wrong?
Tell us — corrections are the point of publishing a methodology. Write to contact@equitytale.com or see the contact page. Every figure traces back to a filing, so telling us the company and the number you expected lets us find whether the mistake is in the filing or in how we read it.
This disclaimer sits alongside our Terms of use and Privacy policy, and does not replace either.
